By using Dander Down you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site.

Dander Down publishes editorial comparisons of air purifiers, compiled from public certification registers and manufacturer documentation. It is information and opinion. It is not a retailer — you cannot buy anything from us, and we hold no stock, take no payment and fulfill no orders.

We take accuracy seriously: every figure is sourced and linked, and the method and its limits are published on How We Pick. But specifications change, manufacturers revise models, certification listings are updated, and prices move constantly. Content is provided on an “as is” basis and we do not warrant that everything is current or error-free at the moment you read it.

Always check the current specification with the manufacturer or retailer before buying. If you find an error here, tell us — corrections get made and marked.

Nothing on this site is medical advice. Several pages discuss allergies, asthma and indoor air quality, and they report what regulators and published research say. They do not diagnose, do not treat, and are not a substitute for a clinician. If you have persistent or worsening symptoms, see a doctor.

Nothing here is professional advice of any other kind either — not electrical, building or legal. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions for any appliance you buy.
